ECM Invests in New Trucks – 2025

ECM will take delivery of 30x new Scania trucks in 2025. This significant investment will allow ECM to manage and grow existing partnerships with multiple OEMs, as well as replace older Euro 5 standard trucks in the fleet with brand new Euro 6 standard trucks. ECM’s total deliveries have increased by c.10% since 2021, and are expected to grow further into 2025, highlighting the need for new and refreshed transporters in the fleet. Our long-standing relationship with Transporter Engineering will continue alongside this truck investment as they provide Plus 11 EVO8 trailers to couple with the new truck units.

ECM continually looks to make capital investments like this to maintain and improve standards, whilst striving to keep its status as running one of the most modern, innovative, highest quality, large scale car transporter fleets in Europe. Once completed, these new units will continue this practice through the incorporation of modern technology such as adaptive cruise control, rear reversing cameras and audible turn notices to meet direct vision standards, as well as improvements to existing aspects such as tyre pressure monitoring and Bluetooth connectivity.
