Bodyshop Mechanical Engineer – Carlisle

ECM (VDS) Ltd is a Car Transporter company with a fleet of over 500 HGV transporters.  At our head office near Carlisle Airport in our fabrication workshop and new paint shop facility we have vacancies for a mechanical engineer.

Duties of the role will include, assisting the Bodyshop in the car transporter refurbishment programme, removing old hydraulic systems, prepping the vehicles for paint, then fitting new hydraulic pipes.  Re-sealing hydraulic rams, shotblasting wheels ready for paint.  Maintaining our current fleet of car transporters.

Essential Requirements are:

• Applicants MUST have their own transport to and from work.
• Must be able to work rotational shift patterns: 07.30am – 16.00pm and 13.00pm – 21.00pm
• Must be able to wear a full Company Uniform.
• Must take care and have pride in their work.
